They actually watch this intersection more for NB & SB red light runners, which is very common at this location – there have been three fatals and untold number of injury and non-injury collisions in the 27 years I’ve lived nearby.
N First Street near Between Nees and Cole
Fresno City PD Motorcycle likes to sit on sidestreet in the middle of the curve between Nees and Cole, tracking both NB & SB traffic.
Ventura/Kings Canyon Avenue near Sixth Street
Officer ususally is on 6th, south of Ventura. Speed Limit is 35mph. I was passing a car about 41, watched the cycle cop pull out and he nailed the unlucky guy I was passing probably because just as I pulled alongside the other vehicle I noticed the cycle. Poor guy!
