Costeau Street near Alicia Parkway

Laguna Hills, CaliforniaSep 07, 20070 Comments

Going on Alicia Eastbound towards I-5, there is a motorcycle cop that will be on the right side sitting on the sidewalk next to Costeau Park. He will be using his radar gun on cars that are approaching I-5 since this is the boundary where the speed limit drops down from 45mph to 40mph. I’ve seen him usually on weekday mornings.

Moulton Parkway near Santa Maria Avenue

Northbound on Moulton north of El Toro Rd. just approaching Santa Maria Ave. East side of Moulton small service gate to golf course set back 6 to 8 feet from moulton with bushes. Motorcycle cop hides in the setback behind bushes with radar. Impossible to see the cop until you are even with the gate. At night, can’t see him at all. Divided Parkway, 3 lanes each way. Posted speed limit is 45 but is downhill northbound. Great place to fill quota.

Oso/Pacific Parkway near Moulton Parkway near Falcon Hill

Officers on motorcycles rotate in and out of this ideal location throughout the day. They face east and aim at motorists going westbound on Oso/Pacific Parkway towards Moulton Parkway. It is a long divided stretch of road and they easily hide near the guard shack at Falcon Hill waiting.
