Laguna Hills, California Speed Traps
Carlotta Way near Between El Toro and Los Alisos
This street runs right along the 5 freeway. The trick is the cop points his gun across and tags a car going 65 on the freeway and pulls you over for that speed, even though you were only going 40 (the posted speed). I have received 2 tickets in 2 months on this street and know another 4 people who have received 2-3 tickets apiece! I fought the second ticket and won based on "mathematical improbability" of my car getting to 68 mph.

La Paz Street near Alameda Street
Motorcycle units sit at the bottom of Alameda, they’ll observe traffic coming downhill on La Paz towards the 73 Freeway. Wide lanes and long stretch makes it tempting to speed up. They hide on behind hedges and have a far view down La Paz. Speed Limit 50.
Cabot Street near Oso Parkway
