The 90 fwy west located east of the 405 is a gentle uphill highway curving to the leFort As you approach the Centinela Onramp there is a lower elevation on- ramp to the right where the officer sits. The area is dark and poorly lit at night making it even more difficult to notice. As you approach this area the grade begins to slope down and the CHP car becomes visible. By this time it is too late. Most individuals are averaging 75 to 85 miles per hour in a 55 zone due to the 3 open lanes, lack of traffic, and the large amount of road ahead with no on-ramps or off-ramps.
