Moreno Valley, California Speed Traps
Cactus westbound at Fredrick
Usually morning rush. Motorcycle officer will park on the northeast corner, on the sidewalk behind the concrete sign for the business park. He uses a radar there.
Allesandro East Of Moreno Beach Heading East
Motorcycle cops on the left on intersecting side streets or behind trees halfway between Moreno Beach and Redlands Blvd.
Alessandro Blvd. and Wilmot St.
There are usually one or two mc cops sitting on Wilmot north of Alessandro facing south, catching traffic both ways. Also, a mc cop about 1/8 mile west sitting on the north side of Alessandro. On Alessandro between Redlands Blvd. and Moreno Beach Dr. the speed limit is 40 mph and there are three speed traps on this stretch of road.
Heacock at Hemlock…north bound.
MC cops sitting in parking lot behind bushes on north right hand side. I think they are trying to catch red light runners since the freeway lights tend to back things up…but they can see that entire intersection from there…turn lanes as well.
Sunnymead Blvd. at Frederick St. Headed East Bound
This is the freeway off ramp that if you catch the light green, you are to immediately drop to 40. There is often a mc near the donut strip mall on the left side. His view also gets westbounders who are headed to the freeway. There is another post on here about the Shell station, that one is valid as well. This stretch of Sunnymead is well known as a speed trap in both directions because it is a super wide multi-lane road with low speed limit of 40.
