Fir Avenue near Nason Street
Usually two motorcycle cops will be sitting on the north or south side of Fir Avenue between Nason Street and Morrison Street. The posted speed limit is 30 mph.It is usually when school is beginning or ending.
Ironwood Avenue near Heritage Street
Traveling west on Ironwood after passing Pigeon Pass there are dips in the road. 2 motorcycle officers sit in the 2nd dip (Heritage) and scan cars as they come over the dips from the east. They have been there off and on over the last couple of years now. They have also been on the opposite side of Ironwood (1 street closer to Pigeon Pass) scanning cars approaching over the dips from the west.
