Roscoe Boulevard near Balboa Boulevard

Northridge, CaliforniaJan 26, 20060 Comments

On Roscoe, between Balboa and White Oak, they hide on a small side street on the north side of the street, either Amestoy or Encino, you don’t see them till you are on them. Motorcycle cops are lying in wait.

Balboa Boulevard near Plummer Avenue

Northridge, CaliforniaJun 13, 20050 Comments

Northbound on Balboa, on the way up the hill towards Plummer, a cycle cop sits in the Prince of Peace church entrance. It’s a 45MPH uphill drive, so anyone going faster is busted immediately. He sits close to the road and turns on his lights before the car even passes him. It’s a quick catch, seen it dozens of times and I always see him writing tickets. Hoping to never see him at my window.

Rinaldi Road near Wilbur Road

Northridge, CaliforniaMay 06, 20050 Comments

It located just east of Wilbur on Rinaldi. Basically if your heading west on rinaldi right before Wilbur your going over a small hill, on the bottom the cop(usually cycle) sits in a small ally on the bottom of the hill about 100ft before wilbur. Theres those tall ‘bush trees’ that hide him/her, and its bad around 3-5pm. Slow down just before coming over the hill and you’ll be fine

Tampa Avenue near US Highway 101

Northridge, CaliforniaMay 18, 20040 Comments

Between the freeways of 118 and 101, basically all of tampa ave: because there is less traffic on tampa then there is on other streets in the valley, people always speed ahead of the normal traffic by using the rightmost lane. but what they dont know is there are cops using radar and laser guns to pin point you and radio ahead. basically if think you can get away with this everyday, you are wrong. also the speed limit is only 35 MPH. they will catch you even if you are doing 40. so be cautious. always look ahead and dont speed on the open. always follow someone.
