Redondo Beach, California Speed Traps
190th Street & Flagler Lane
There is a motorcycle cop that hides behind a large white truck for sale on the northeast corner of 190th & Flagler Lane; he’s got a radar gun pointed towards the eastbound traffic that is going down the hill towards Rindge (I suppose he’s probably checking westbound too). I go that way to work and he’s been there a lot around 7 a.m. so be careful.
190th Street and Rindge Lane
Motorcycle cop waits with radar gun pointed toward cars heading south on Rindge Ln. during morning commuting hours.
PCH & Catalina
Motorcyle cops sit in the parking lot under the office building facing Catalina as it ends at PCH looking for cars making an illegal right hand turn from PCH on to Catalina.
Palos Verdes Blvd between Prospect and Sepulveda
Police like to hide between cars and in driveways. They also sit on side streets with radar guns aimed at Palos Verdes Blvd.
hawthorne blvd north of 182nd st on west side of hawthorne.
i know theres alot of different postings for the intersection of hawthorne and 182nd street, but ive seen three different jurisdictions located at the exact same spot. in the ralphs parking lot ive noticed torrance pd, redondo pd, and chp officers several different times and all of them where motorcycle units! usually in the early mornings, and on weekends as well. i do my shopping early! once there was torrance chopping it up with chp. thats two jurisdictions at once! dont mess around in torrance anywhere! there everywhere!
