Natural traffic flow on Northgate runs about 40 to 45 mph in this mostly commercial area. When transitioning into this school speed zone, it�s very easy to exceed posted speed limit with pressure of close proximity cars lining up behind you. Suggest getting into right (slow) lane and slow to speed limit. Not unusual to see 4 to 6 motorcycle officers doing round robin tagging on both North and South bound lanes from time to time. Local TV stations occasionally do specials on speeders going past this school which includes interviews with local law enforcement and ticketed drivers.
