Between Saratoga Avenue and Mitty Way on Moorpark Avenue
US Highway 85 near State Highway 17
On 85, sb AND nb, under highway 17, often motorcycle cops are sitting using LIDAR. I got a ticket for 91mph. They are 5 of them called the eliete 5. Beware not only on 85, but 101, 280, and other popular ones. Bascially there is no way around it. Usually they are parked under alot of overpasses waiting for you over the hill.. Its horrible.
Blossom Hill Road Road near State Highway 101
Moving west on Blossom Hill Road away from HWY 101, motorcycle police with radar are just below bottom of the hill hidden behind parked cars on the right. Posted limit is 40MPH but after coming down the hill most everyone is going 45-55MPH. Cops nail you with radar then waive you over for the ticket.
Camden Avenue near Meridian Avenue
Camden comes down a fairly steep hill and it is too easy to gain speed going from Paso Los Cerritos down toward Almaden Expressway. This is when the radar goes into action. Cops hide on side streets on the right.
Lincoln Avenue near Curtner Avenue
As you travel West bound on Lincoln Ave. before you reach Curtner Ave. there is a Senior Citizen Center on the the right hand side of the road. Two and sometimes up to 4 motorcycle cops will be stationed at the far driveway of the Senior Center positioned on the side walk and under some trees. As you approach there is a children’s day care center on the left side of Lincoln Ave. From there you can usually see them provided no cars are parked on the street. The 25 mph posted limit is strictly enforced.
