Stockton, California Speed Traps
Pershing at the I-5 offramp N/B
They wait for you to get off the freeway. They hide between cars at Victory Park with their Radar guns.
Swain Road at Belmont
First 2 weeks of the month, there are cops parked 2 blocks to the North watching for stop sign runners or the "California" stops.
Crosstown Freeway Heading East Toward Hwy 99
Traveling on the crosstown freeway heading east to hwy 99 watch for the CHP sitting on the right between Wilson way and Fremont St. When you go under the overpass and the freeway starts to curve to the right the CHP will be sitting there waiting for speeders. It is ALWAYS a motorcycle cops never a car. I always see them on Sunday mornings approx 8:45am.
El Dorado Street traveling south over Calaveras Bridge.
Just as you go over the Calaveras Bridge, going south, a radar officer sits on the side street (Ingram) to the right. He is usually there mornings during the commute downtown. He catches you just as you are coming down from the overpass bridge. By the time you see him it’s too late. Speed limit changes from the north side of the bridge to the south side as you pass over. Very little margin for error.
Robinhood Dr Near Pacific Ave
Multiple Motorcycle police are usually parked in the Mountain Mikes shopping center, waiting for cars either coming up Robinhood, or coming out of the side street that leads to Delta Colleg, near the Fire station. I’d say I see them about two days out of each week, if not more.
