Temecula, California Speed Traps
Rancho California Road & Glenoaks Road (wine country)
Make sure to stop at the stop sign, going straight or turning, the officer usually sits on glenoaks road waiting for you to roll through the stop sign.
On Redhawk Pkwy, near large park at a stop sign
Motorcop is almost ALWAYS sitting on the sidewalk, back in the corner, waiting for people to roll the sign. I can even tell you the officer’s name 🙂 its his favorite spot. Not a fun 276$ ticket (w/ traffic school) Be careful!!
exiting off front street
no turn on red light sign posted so you don’t see it until you make actual turn
have three or four motorcycle cops wating for you to write a ticket. Really makes one want to shop in Temecula. Feel they should post sign on signal if it is really a safety hazard and not a money maker
Calle Medusa Avenue near La Serena Way
It’s usually a motorcycle cop that sits in someone’s driveway. The speed limit is 25 and it’s easy to go alot faster. I see people get pulled over almost daily.
De Luz Road near Rancho California Road
De Luz is a country road and posted at 50 MPH. Folks tend to faster and the sheriffs never let you off with a warning. The road is narrow so watch for joggers and bike riders. Also dips for creek overflows. Lots of wild animals too.
