Thousand Oaks, California Speed Traps
Usually a motorcycle cop on Reino in front of NPHS while kids present in a.m. He hides amongst parked cars so he is very hard to see.
Motorcycle cop sits hidden at old Sneakerland near Oakstone Glass and also under the trees at Enriques Mexican Restaurant. Do not go over 35MPH on Thousand Oaks Blvd. or get a ticket. There are two of them that ticket all day long.
Do not go over 35MPH on Hillcrest or they will get out between Hodencamp and Erbes Rd.
Officers often parked behind parked cars on Ave. de Los Flores or at a curve in the road where it is hard for oncoming traffic to spot them. As you come off Lynn Rd. with a 50 mph limit, headed east on Ave. de los Flores it is reduced to a 35 mph speed limit. As this is a wide 4 lane street with a center turn lane and little to moderate traffic it is quite easy to not even notice that your speed is climbing back uptowards 50mph speed limit that you just left after making the turn off of Lynn.
Motorcycle cops out on Blvd between wilber and the 23 fwy. I work right on the street and make bets to see who will get pulled over. They never sit for longer then 2 min before getting someone.
