Golden, Colorado Speed Traps

A police car sits on the Boyd street entrance ramp, hidden from view by a fence. The speed limit drops from 65 to 55 as you approach Boyd and then drops further as you approach Hwy 93 but motorists usually don’t slow down so the cop will nab them.

Going westbound on 58th from I-70 there are 4 posted speed limit signs @ 65MPH with the last posted 65MPH sign at the top of the hill (mountain). As you come down the hill there are no other signs until about the base of the hill where there is a 50MPH posted sign just before the Boyd St exit. This is about 250 yards from where the Golden Cops sit behind some bushes waiting to generate revenue.
