A cop always sits there right in the median of Cole Mine and Wadsworth while another cop sits at the street directly north of Cole Mine on Wadsworth. Another cop sometimes sits and waiting for people at the Swedish Medical Hospital on Wadsworth that is located in between Bowles Ave and Cole Mine Ave on Wadsworth. Be careful anytime of the day because they could be there at 12:00pm or 3:00am

State Highway 85/Santa Fe near Titan Parkway

Littleton, ColoradoDec 05, 20070 Comments

There are two roads within 1 mile of each other on the east side of 85/Santa Fe between Highlands Ranch Parkway and Titan Parkway. One is a well-spotted and lit road into a small residential area-I’ve seen polic SUVs, motorcycles, and cars there many times. The other is the real winner- there is a small, unlit dirt road (nearest of the two to Highlands Ranch), aligned with hills on both sides of the entrance, making it impossible to see a car parked on that road until you’re within 100+/- feet of it. They sit there most often and catch both south and north bound vehicles several times a month. This one is sneaky!

The Police sit off the road in a small park and shoot oncoming traffic from both north and south directions. The speed limit is 45 but traffic travels much faster.
