5:15am 2 patrol cars sitting on the east side of Jordan Road just south of Lincoln Ave. Still dark, hiding on side street. They had 2 cars pulled over
Mainstreet Street near Newlin Gulch Boulevard Street
Motorists travelling westbound on Mainstreet toward the newly-opened Chambers Road are radar-gunned. They had several commuters pulled over for speeding one recent weekday morning!
Cottonwood Drive near Cottonwood Way
Parker Police Officer (normally in a marked car) is parked on the southwest corner of Cottonwood Drive and Cottonwood Way. If traveling from West to East on Cotton wood drive crossing over the Cherry Creek Bridge you will see him on the right. The speed limit traveling from West to East is 25 MPH, which is totally unrealistic as this could easily be traveled at 35 – 40 MPH.
Parker Road near US Highway E470 Toll Way
As you come off E470 Toll Way – the end of the off ramp to Cottonwood Rd is about 4 tenths of a mile – It is 45 miles per hour for the that 4 tenths of a mile and then goes to 55 miles an hour at Cottonwood Rd. The police sit at Cottonwood Rd (by the way, the last spot still in Parker before it swiches to Centennial – nice! got a ticket for going 58 miles per hour coming off the ramp.
Parker Road near Stroh Road
North bound Parker Road from North Pinery Parkway…They sit in that little turn out just south of Stroh Road on the east side of the street. Be careful!
