Newark, Delaware Speed Traps

Newark PD runs radar frequently from behind the bushes in the parking lot of the old Granary Station, just where the UoD students cross over Elkton Rd. They don’t limit this trap to when UoD is in session, so it’s a good idea to NEVER exceed 25 MPH in this area.

Right off of Ash Avenue. Also at Possum Park shopping ctr.

Red Light Photo Trap.

Heading north or south on S.College Ave. The cops set up a the bottom of the small bridge which is the overpass for the railroad tracks. If heading south it’s right after the W. Park Place intersection. If heading north it’s just past the stadium.

County Police are always somewhere on this Road ! Usually parked next to Brookside School.
