Look for a cop car as you head away from Newark on Rt 2 – They like to sit in the turn lane at the light to make a right into Windy Hills. Speed limit is 35, but it is easy to cruise along at 50. Normally seen in the late afternoon/PM rush hour when the local high schools are getting out.

State Highway 72 near State Highway 4
At the bottom of the hill going over the Amtrak line, heading S, they like to sit in the road off to the right opposite the U of D farm. The road there has a steep grade; they can sit down there and you’ll never even see them until it’s too late. Speed limit is 45; safe speed is much higher. During the day, the road is filled with people doing 40 so speeding will not be a problem. I don’t often see cops there during the day. Careful at night!
