Clearwater, Florida Speed Traps
Clearwater/Largo Road near Between Eastbay & Bellair

Mc Mullen Booth Road near Bayside Bridge
I just encountered a new spot on the bayside bridge. Just over the small hump, on 03/06/2008 at around 11:50am, A state trooper was on a motorcycle tagging vehicles with Laser right when they hit the peak of the small hump on the bayside bridge, travelling southbound. He tagged me while I was passing a semi truck, going about 10mph over, but fortunately my laser jammer jammed him all the way until I passed him, because I didn’t even see him until it was too late.
Be careful on this bridge… they are switching it up from their normal speed trap spot at the end of it by 49th st._
Countryside Boulevard near Masters Avenue
Two or three officers with radar and motorcycle and/or vehicle; usually am rush hour and/or mid afternoon; speed limit has just reduced to 30 mph from 35 mph at that location._
US Highway 19 near Sunset Point Road
Several unmarked cars and pickup trucks with tinted windows are pulling over motorists going atleast 13 miles over the posted 55 mph. Pulled over around 10:30am. Beware high fine $185+!_
49th Street near Roosevelt Boulevard
Coming southbound off of the Bayside Bridge onto 49th Street, they will pile 4-6 squad cars and motorcycles and catch people with laser and radar. The speed limit suddenly drops by 10 mph and they will usually do this Friday evenings (there might be one or two there during morning hours), especially before a holiday weekend._
