Bike cops hide in median and on side of Midway ave past the large bend. Instant on Ka radar. Mostly there to catch Embry Riddle students speeding to school.

South Palmetto Avenue near Big Tree Park

Daytona Beach, FloridaJan 05, 20050 Comments

There are cops here all the time. They like to park their cars/motorcycles about a 100 yards north of the big tree park. The speed limit is 25 so stick to it. Always be on look out for cops on this road. I like to sometimes sit out on my porch and count how many pulled over people I can count.. I havent had a fruitless night yet.

Bellevue Avenue near Nova Road

Daytona Beach, FloridaJun 17, 20040 Comments

Daytona Beach Police officers on their motorcycles sit on either side of the road just West of the Shell Station (Nova Rd. + Bellevue Ave) during Rush hour during the winter months when the sun starts to set around 5:30 and driving west bound is blinding. They use this to there advantage because you wont see them entil they are three feet ahead of you, and even with a radar detector it is almost impossible to slow down, especially if you blow through a yellow light at the intersection going west on bellevue. East bound traffic coming from Clyde Morris Blvd be careful to. They also wait until you come around the bend to hit you. This is a bad speed trap.. Becareful everyone.

I-95

Daytona Beach, FloridaNov 18, 20030 Comments

On I-95. driving south after you leave the construction zone (which may also have cops at the southern end) after driving 2 miles or so you will see a overpass. 10percent of the time state troopers are waiting for you underneath the overpass in the median. going north this overpass would be a mile or 2 after the port orange exit. mile marker 256ish.
