N. U.S. Hwy 1 between Nova and Airport Rds.
Ormond Beach motorcycle officers sit in the median near River Grill, just south of the Tomoka River bridge, targeting both north and southbound traffic. Officers normally stand off the VERY small foreign-made motorcycles which don’t appear (at a distance) to be law enforcement.
Arroyo Parkway, Between Nova Rd & Center St
The speed limit is 25, the street is wooded and shady near Nova Rd and more residential towards Center St. A motorcycle officer sits closer to the end of the wooded area and blends well with the shade & trees. Traffic off Nova headed towards Center, usually gets a ticket.
