Ormond Beach, Florida Speed Traps
The speed limit is 45 MPH. There is a county sheriff that drives up and down the road looking to nab speeders. There is also a school zone for the middle school. The sheriff likes to sit in the median. There are people that still speed by him in the school zone when it is 25 MPH.

For the fast-moving traffic coming off Granada and heading south, the trap can generally be found just around the bend past Spring Meadow subdivision. The Ormond Beach P.D. will stop you up for anything and are known to pick on Seniors who do rolling stops out of the various communities in this section of highway. 2/27/2015
Motor patrol hides along north side of tree line approximately 4 blocks east of Nova Rd. This is a main avenue where the eastbound speed limit drops from 45mph to 25mph when crossing Nova Rd. Be advised if you hold a CDL license you won’t qualify for traffic school. Read your ticket not what he tells you. 2/27/2015
