Ormond Beach, Florida Speed Traps
Tymber Creek Road, just North of Granada Blvd

They will ticket you for the 40mph speed limit despite signs.

The speed limit is 45 MPH. There is a county sheriff that drives up and down the road looking to nab speeders. There is also a school zone for the middle school. The sheriff likes to sit in the median. There are people that still speed by him in the school zone when it is 25 MPH.
State Road 40 Just west of Timber Creek.
Motorcycle cop in Median giving out tickets like candy to East bound drivers. They also use a squad car behind the Riverbend Church sign.
Clyde Morris Blvd. just south of Granada (state route 40)

For the fast-moving traffic coming off Granada and heading south, the trap can generally be found just around the bend past Spring Meadow subdivision. The Ormond Beach P.D. will stop you up for anything and are known to pick on Seniors who do rolling stops out of the various communities in this section of highway. 2/27/2015
