Double lane highway, usually have Ormond Beach and FHP patrolling or sitting in center lane. Speed is 55mph, but most travel at 65 + Tickets are expensiiiiive.

some unmarked ford crown vics in white with a uniformed officer have been known to patrol between Daytona and Ormond Beach. the officers here are slick though not unreasonable. have also been known to use unmarked chevy impalas and dodge intrepid though the vics are more common.
Interstate 95 between Route 40 and LPGA Blvd
Frequently one sits at the overpass of LPGA Boulevard while others marked and unmarked cruise I-95 north and southbound.

Typical radar set-up,irregular schedule, usually in the bushes near Ormond in the Pines Assisted Living Facility for northbound traffic. For the fast-moving traffic coming off Granada and heading south, the trap can generally be found just around the bend past Spring Meadow subdivision. The Ormond Beach P.D. will stop you up for anything and are known to pick on Seniors who do rolling stops out of the various communities in this section of highway.
