over the crest of the bridge in the breakdown lane.
Eastbound they sit just around the curve at the base of the bridge.

Going into town or on the beach there are most of the times a officer sitting on oneside or right on top of the bridge.
State Route 388 near State Route 79 and 77
On HWY 388 between HWY 77 and 79 either east and west. This is known as a HOT zone by State Troopers as I have been warned. Their are many log roads that police sit and wait, as well as just goiong back and forth form about 6:30 am to 5:00 pm driving in unmarked vehicles.

Always a unit sitting at the base of the bridge on the West side. either directly in the median or hidden in the adjacent gas station. speed limit is 45 and you will get run over if you try to drive that slow over the Dupont Bridge from Tyndall AFB.
State Ave. between Baldwin Rd and 23rd St
In the State Ave. area described, there are a number of city and county officers who reside there. The city officers patrol their neighborhood, and with speed signs clearly marked 30 MPH the citations are freely given so if you are in this area note the speed you are driving.
