Tampa, Florida Speed Traps

Two Tampa motorcycle cops sit on the corner and point there Laser guns on traffic going Northbound and Southbound on Lois St. They will nail you then walk out in the street and wave you onto LaSalle St to give you the ticket.

Between Exit 9 and 8 west bound, watch the Airplane overhead and about 10 troppers in Cars and Motorcycles. I got caught doing 83 in a 7- MPH zone.

Last week i counted, there were SEVEN cop cars stationed right behind the stone wall when turning onto North Village road. there is a man in a white van or a red F150 clocking on laser farther back on the road, after you go by him, theres seven cop cars hanging out around the corner, obvious, but dangerous as well

On southbound Westhore Blvd, right where it becomes 1 one lane, a cop on foot will stand with a hand held radar/laser gun and, clock people as they come down the road. Considerable foliage makes the cop very difficult to see. Typically, they wave speeders over right there on the spot but, they also have multiple vehicles to chase as well. Occasioanlly, they will do the same operation, but on the other side of the road, where it goes from one lane, to two. This is not routinely trapped at night…
