Fletcher Ave from Lake Ellen Woods to Armenia

Tampa, FloridaMar 13, 20100 Comments

There is a section in front of the Lake Magdalene church that is 40mph and the very next block goes up to 45 miles per hour. Unmarked cars and motorcycle sit in the center left turn lanes on fletcher or off the side street of the church and radar cars. You are driving along at the speed of everyone else and everyone gets hit. This happens a couple times each year. I have been hit there doing 5 miles over three times. It is confusing because the speed changes from one block to the next. Be careful

Interbay Blvd. and South Manhattan Ave.

Tampa, FloridaMar 05, 20100 Comments

Taveling west on interbay blvd. is 45 M.P.H. until you get about a block from Manhattan which abruptly changes to 30 M.P.H. Cops sit across from Masterpacking or in their parking lot at night just waiting for you to go 30 1/2 M.P.H. I have nerver been pulled over, I just want to caution people to be aware of their speed and surroundings.

Going west on US 60 after the Memorial Hwy split as you go over the newly built overpass before Pelican Island the speed reduces to 35mph, then to 45mph as you come down the overpass towards the right usually you’ll see about fifteen to twenty motorcycle units waiting to tag drivers going over the limit.
