West Palm Beach, Florida Speed Traps
Southern Boulevard near CR 880 Road
Southern Blvd – heading out to Belle Glade. FHP loves to hide in the corn & sugarcane. They are the biggest enforcers. Since the recent budget cuts, PBSO has been giving many tickets. Before they were cool. There’s Nothing out that way when it’s clear. I’ve seen numerous times a pack running only 70 in the 65 & keeping pace, a cop would pull the leader – even an elderly couple. All of Southern has been widened, from 2 to sometimes 4-5 lanes /w overpasses, yet it’s still 45! You can def. safely travel 65, but be careful. There’s an unmarked green mustang, & several others. I’ve also heard they hide by the railroad tracks towards BG. Don’t speed during foggy mornings though – that’s stupid & many have been killed.

Essex Street near Olive Avenue
Motorcycle with radar, usually on East side of Olive and Essex.

Northlake Boulevard near Nature Preserve/DNR
West Palm Beach P.D. motor unit uses this spot to make up ther end of the month ticket numbers as you only see them out there at the end of the month. Usually in the area at peak traffic times. No major history of accidents in this stretch of roadway nor do they have much jurisdiction landwise in the area. Makes you wonder why they strike at that spot so heavily. Posted 55 MPH but easily and safely could be 65-70 MPH posted. Usually sit in the entrance to the wildlife preserve. If you get stopped, prepare to get the ticket, slim and none with the warnings.
