They sit far off the road and shoot from the car windows and also stand on the corner with handheld units. The limit is an unrealistic 35 MPH. Taps are between Jog Rd. and Milatary Trail on Belveder Rd.
Olive Avenue near Gregory Drive
North on Olive Avenue just after passing over the spillway bridge leaving Lake Worth. Speed Limit drops from 35mph to 25mph. Usually are near the corner of Gregory Dr and Olive Avenue.
Parker Avenue near Okeechobee Road
Police attempt to hide behind trees and flag you with a radar gun. They are either on motorcycles or on foot, and are several at a time. The choice spot is between Okeechobee Boulevard and Park Place, especially near the driveway going into Howard Park.
Village Boulevard near 45th Street
Vehicles traveling north or south on Village Blvd between
45th Street and Brandywine. Police cars sit in turn lanes or in island on grass beyond curves.Plenty of foliage to hide cars.Motorcycles also. Usually 2-3 officers standing in street to pull over people speeding.
Interstate I-95 near Southern Boulevard
FHP hiding around the bends – Most mornings traveling northbound on I-95 between Southern & Okeechobee they have someone pulled over. So far it hasn’t been me.
