Hawthorne Avenue near oglethorpe Avenue
Police cars or motorcycles, back up into the far corner of the YMCA parking lot. You can’t see them until you are directly in front of them. The speed limit is 35, the roadway is a very wide three lane, two directional lanes and a center reversible turning lane.
State Highway 78 west side of athens near Interstate 3 minutes before 316
On 78 just before 316, Oconee or State will hide on the opposite side of neighborhoods behind bushes. Usually in mornings everyday or on weekends.
Gaines School Road near Lexingon Road
cop sits with his motorcycle in the trees and tags you as you come into the school zone. no warning, you cant even see him.
10 Loop near Peter Street
On the outer loop, as you pass under a bridge, the speed limit changes from 65 to 55. This is the Only place on the entire 10-loop where the speed limit is not 65. It’s as you are approaching the light at this intersection. Be careful.
