Columbus, Georgia Speed Traps

It is 4 lane and goes from 45 to 35 just before Macon rd and then after Macon it goes to 45. The Traffic Engineering dept did not have a traffic survey for that stretch of road in 2014.

That stretch is 40 and changes to 50. It is 4 lane with a turn lane and sidewalks unattached. Should be a consistent 50, but they constantly catch people.

Driving toward flatrock on 80 east the speed limit is 65 than drops to 55 and then drops to 45 mph. There are also flashing lights upon approaching the intersection! Its possible to miss the changes in speed! The Police officer on his motorcycle will be sitting at the intersection just as you come out of the curve! Radar and Laser are used! Its over kill in this area with reductions in speed so close together!

Police are constantly sitting waiting for a U turn violation. I’ve seen them write more than 10 tickets in an hour!

there is a dare truck with blue under glow which is an active cop, he will sit in the parking lot of sho gun and radar racers/ speeders.
