Conyers P.D. likes to sit under the West ave bridge on the eastbound side. It is in a bend in the road,at the bottom of a hill.They never lack for "customers".

Late at night (midnight on) cops will sit in parking lots along Hwy 138. There will also be a few patroling up and down this highway. It is easy for them to get you (not many cars out)or radio another cop further down the road.

Between Hi Roc and Sigman Rd Ga 20 is downhill for miles if you are headed west, cops count on you not riding your brakes the whole way to stay under 45mph. They just sit at the bottom around the curve before Carr Rd.

Police sit at the edges of these now-closed rest areas, particulary in the darker times of the day, when their vehicles are harder to spot, though they are often there during daylight hours as well.
