Dublin, Georgia Speed Traps
State Highway 46 near State Highway 319
This is along a stretch of road through a heavily wooded area, six miles from 319. My ticket is for $800, going 25 over. What are they building with my money? I was told I didn’t have to show up in traffic court. Any particular reason why?

US Highway 441 near 20 miles north of Dublin on 441 posted as construction zone, speed limit 55
The roughly 20 miles of 441 north of Dublin are posted as construction zone, speed limit 55. But there is no sign of any construction, not even a single orange cone or barrel in this whole stretch. The speed limit on most of 441 (except for within town/city limits) is 65. A ticket for going 19-24 mph over the speed limit is $400 — payable only by money order or certified check.

Now that the bridge work is done and they have lost the ability to enforce the construction zone limits, the Sherriffs Dept. is issuing tickets for following to close on I16, my wife just got one for being at least 4 car links behind the lead car.

I got a ticket that said I was going 97mph in a 70mph zone. Yeah, right. I NEVER went over 80mph. About a mile down the road from where I was stopped, another person was pulled over. The speed was increased, I’m sure my fine will be.
