Dublin, Georgia Speed Traps
I-16 in the complete Laurens County section
Multi cars, including older unmarked cars. Look for fresh tracks in the grass. They frequently use dummy patrols which sometimes cross the median, the enforcement cars really hide. Dpty Sheriff says speed is much higher (98 mph) than actual (~80) but the supervisor doesn’t want to come up so he logs a lower violation (82) speed, don’t worry he says they don’t report either on the driving record. Ticket folder was about 4" thick the day I paid. GHP office is just off the Interstate and they often join the fun.
Along I-16 for the entire city of Dublin
I-16 is a construction zone for the entire area, so not only are the speeds lower, but also they can double the fines. The sherriff’s department wants money.
