Dublin, Georgia Speed Traps
Within a mile of where 441 bypass south splits off of 441 South. Patrol can be setup in median or is backed into planted pines. This is between mile post 24 and 25. Speed changes north of this point from 65 to 55.
They are always near Bushes
Highway 441 north of Dublin from the Wilkinson County line to the north beginning point of the 441 bypass. Highway is 4 lane and speed limit is 65 to the Laurens County line where it unseemingly changes to 55 and is not well marked. Because it is a 4 lane road and has been 65 (and should be) you are lulled into maintaining the 65 speed. County Law enforcement monitor the 6 mile stretch.
20 miles over the speed limit in this county will get you a $400 fine.
600 on a two lane road in this county. They catch you as you top a hill.
Speed limit is 55 and should be 65 being it is a four lane highway.
City police sit all along this stretch of road, mostly near 441 at rental buildings where they can hide behind a sign. Speed limit is only 35mph, but should be higher because of traffic. It’s a commercial area Dublin PD! not a school zone.
