Griffin, Georgia Speed Traps
construction zone- for bridge construction- northbound- curve to the right provides cover for hiding police car in right lane. Hiding in the shadows from early morning sun.
If your heading east on highway 16 as soon as you cross over into Butts County and right before you cross over Interstate 75. Speed drops from 55 to 45.
Georgia State Patrol park facing east AND west to catch drivers coming over hills in both directions. Speed limit on 2 lane Highway is 55 mph. Speed limit drops from 55 to 45 MPH once you reach the 4 lane. Seems a little backward to me.
North Pine Hill Road is where the Griffin Police Dapartmant Officers get their quota on a daily basis. One patrols for a while until he gets his daily quota then he is replaced by another. (Daily quotas levied on officers was verified by Atlanta TV Stations)
On Vaughn Rd. between Hwy. 16 and Ellis Rd. County Sheriff sits back in a vacant, grown up driveway just at the bridge at bottom of hill. If your speeding from either direction just before the bridge, its probably too late by then.
