Kennesaw, Georgia Speed Traps

Kennesaw Police will sit in the center turn lane on the straightaway in front of Kennesaw Mountain High School. They were monitoring people coming over the hill during school release (speed limit reduced to 25) and stopped people before giving them a chance to slow.

This location is between Chastain-Meadows and Busbee road on Big Shanty. Usually they are waiting under the I75 overpass catching you when you come around the corner or down the street in the church parking lot hiding behind a sign so you can’t see them. The speed limit is 35 and most people always go 45. We always seems them around lunch time during the work week and catch you going either direction.

Speed limit 35. Wide open road that is easily mistaken for a higher limit. Police well hidden and often pull over many vehicles at a time. This is a short cut between Stilesboro and Acworth Due West Road.

Driving from Chastain to Barrett Parkway on Busbee shortly after passing Shogun restraunt on your left, you go up a slight hill, police will be sitting in the entrance to the Hotel thats on the right side of Busbee. (Expect to see atleast 3 motorcycle cops, 2 runing the radar and at time 2-3 giving tickets) Oh and by the time you see them its to late!

Cobb County & Kennesaw Police regularly sit along the area between Duncan Road & McCullum Airport.
