Roswell, Georgia Speed Traps
Holcomb Bridge Road/ Roswell side of Chattahochee River
Usually a cop on a bike and they hit you as you come over the hill, headind east.
Bowen Road traveling only north/bound to Hwy. 92
New signs erected on n/b side only from Cobb County Line continuing on Jones Road to Woodstock. Posted speed limit on this road is 35 mph, new signs reduce speed in approved areas for laser/radar to 30mph. Speed drops before subdivision entrances & regular roadway intersections, goes back up after you clear intersection. Motorists have to keep increasing and decreasing speed along this 1 1/2 mile stretch of road.
GA-400 Between Exit 7 & Exit 8
The local cops are now using a pickup truck with a camper shell. It looks like a pickup truck has broken down on the side of the road from the distance and then boom – the jerks have you on radar.
Highway 92, from Sandy Plains Road to Hwy. 140
Roswell cops absolutely love to pull people over. They heavily patrol this stretch of road as it is a six lane with a 45 speed limit that is exceeded by ussually 15 miles an hour. The roswell police have two blue cars that are basically unmarked, and they like to sit in the entrances to neighboorhoods on this road just barely in site. Always look as far as you can to the next bend in the road. They ussually sit right before that bend in a neighboorhood. They also like to sit on the side of 92 in front of the super target at mountain park road.
Holcomb Bridge/Mansell
Police sit on overpass between holcomb bridge & mansell.. one clocks from the over pass while another waits at the mansell exit.
