Roswell police motorbike Speedcops sit on the Emergency lanes both North and South, with their radar guns resting on their left fore-arms, picking people off "like shooting fish in a barrel" on this fast run down to, or up from the river. Many drivers never see the low visual profile bike cops until too late – they are never there in rush-hour, as the traffic rarely gets near speed-limit. Tip if you see anything in the Emergency lane half a mile away, just don’t be the fastest car on 400 near Holcomb Bridge !! Good luck.

Roswell PD in their new cruisers (which they proudly display on their web site) LOVE to sit in groups of 2 or 3 and nab cars coming into the city from Norcross just as they cross the bridge. I travel this stretch of road regularly at night and see them in their pathetic little revenue-gathering attempt at least half the time. So, try to stay near 45 mph if you can…
