Cherokee County hides in the center median under the Hwy 92 bridge, between 4am and 5am, using laser and radar on southbound travelers heading into Marietta/ Atlanta for work. They generally work solo, and only have about a mile of Interstate to run you down before crossing into Cobb County.

two locations, highway 5 aks canton rd aks main street, at townelake parkway, the signs are 45 then only a few feet it drops to 25, they are rude and the one that pulled me over was a little scary, also going through on east cherokee the signs also drop before you can see them and they wait for you. knowing you did not see the 25 sign. they are also very rude and you cannot fight the system. it is the worst, they let no-one get off, even though you are really not quilty

These cops sit anywhere along the road. they sit on either side of the road at the electricity transformer stations. They will also sit back in the entrance of a apartment complex. Also be aware that they are often times up to 1 mile east of hwy.5 they write tons of tickets. The speed limit is 45, traffic often times moves well at 60.

The entire town of woodstock is a speedtrap. All police vehicles are equipped with radar and laser. The officers are over run with high ego problems that lead to illegal stops and ticketing practices. Woodstock has been in the process of a large make over and has paid for this with your speed trap dollars. If you are stopped don’t plan on beating your citation in court, as this town is one of many that practice "small town justice". Take it from me, even a well educated, high-priced attorney can’t help you here!

stopping an average of 15 to 20 cars a day, mostly going down hill, the cop cars are hiding in many different locations, stopping cars that may only be going 5 to 10 mph over. as many as 6 cars at a time in serveral locations in a 2 mile area.
