Lies Street near Gary Street
West bound on Lies from Gary is a gradual uphill grade and one can easily over accelerate to compensate for the incline. The same is true East bound on Lies from Kuhn; as you enter the decline, so does your speed.
State Highway 64 near Gary Avenue
Eastbound about half mile east of Gary, before the light at Schmale Rd. Look to your right about 100 feet south of the highway on a private drive to a factory building. Every day and night! The limit is 45. Go over 50? Fine with them! Additional trap has sprung up westbound Rt.64/North Ave. west of Gary Ave. before Kuhn Rd. Intermittant basis only.
North Avenue near Schmale Road
The Carol Stream Police seats at parking lot of this company call McKassen, just west of Schmale Rd every day all day long.
State Route 64 near Kuhn Street
The trap is set on Rte 64, North Ave between the streetlights for Gary and Kuhn. The police will sit in the parking lot of a nursery on the North side of the street and a policeman – outside of his vehicle – will clock you. He will dispatch patrol cars from that parking lot or lined up down Kuhn. This is a nasty speedtrap because a lot of the times you don’t see a police car, just the policeman. By the time you realize he’s gunned you, you’re marked.

Heavy, constant enforcement, especially weekends from Schmale Road to County Farm Road in both directions.
