Joliet, Illinois Speed Traps

Joliet Police often sit in the Middle School Parking lot by the side of the building so you cant see them untill its to late and with a speed limit of 35 on a two lane road its very tempting to exceed the speed limit.

This is a high traffic street going pass a high school and hospital. Cop likes to sit in a lawn chair with radar gun with chase cars down the line. On July 11, they had 9 cars set up. Joliet is a high crime area, you would think they would have other things to do. I guess this is "Money Heaven."

A squad will position themselves completely off the roadway in back of the old creamy delight ice cream shop and are not visible at all until it is too late. Catch cars will be out of sight down the road
