Most of the time police will park in the enterance of Maryhill Cemetary but ive seen them parked along the street with other cars and in parking lots across the street from the cemetary. it is very tempting for people to go fast because its straight but dont think u can get away because Niles police are EVERYWHERE late at night and they will get you

In the village crossing in Niles their is a speedtrap set up in the docking area by circuit city a cop just sits there with his Ka band Radar gun and waits for you to go above 15MPH

Travelling on US14 (Dempster) either direction, passing under IL21 (Milwaukee) the cops wait on either side of the bridge. Since you actually go about 12′ below the street level while passing under the bridge, and they installed concrete onramps coming from IL21 (Milwaukee), you cannot see them. Speed limit is 35 despite US14 (Dempster) being a 6 lane highway.

I have had three tickets at the exact same location every time- always between midnight and one a.m. Don’t even drive 8-10 over. they’ll ticket you for that. And they’re merciless. Never a warning.
