151st. Street near Evergreen Road
151st West of Harlem by the walking path is a favorite spot for the prowl car. The police have an unmarked SUV, but when they really want to be covert, they use a motorcycle. It pulls out like a jackrabbit, only it doesn’t have a white cotton tail- just red lights, siren, and ticket book. If you’re speeding or don’t stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk, the police will pinch you for sure.
US Highway 45 near 179th Street
Cops sit in the empty parking lot of Pronger Smith clinic with a radar gun. I’ve seen them there several times, got pulled over once for doing 10 mph over the speed limit.
Elm Street near 135th Street
This has become a very busy street due to construction and holiday traffic. The Police, though hitting the area hard the last month, explain they are only there to slow traffic due to alot of kids in the area.
