Rohlwing Road near Anderson Drive
Usually between 6:30am and 8:30am northbound (trying to catch students going to school) they will sit on Sayles Drive and gun people heading to school. In the afternoon, they will sit on Pompano or Tahoe getting people heading southbound.
ILL 53 Expressway near State Route ILL 68 Dundee Rd
Police sit just past Dundee Rd overpass to nab northbound traffic.
Palatine Expressway near Rand Road
In the local lanes of Palatine Road. East Bound in the Morring and West bound in the eveings. officers are woring in teams the first officer is on foot with his radar gun (hard to tell that the office is not just a pedistrind until you are right there) when he get some one speeding he relay this to his buddys that are the next block down.
Lake Cook Road near Hicks Road
Actually it’s not so much a speed trap as it is officer who sits in the parking lot at Lake Cook and Hicks rd who waits to pull you over if you cross over the yellow lines in the left turn lane (to turn from Lake Cook onto Hicks rd).
State Route 12 near Quentin Road
They sit in the Citgo lot right on the corner-stop alot speeding and running red light -also no left turn there without arrow-see people do this a lot! Mostly morning and evening rush hours. (State Route 12 – Rand Road)
