Schaumburg, Illinois Speed Traps

25 mph zone. Police squad cars and/or motorcycle cops sit back on either side of cross street Crest Ave. You can’t see them until you are almost at the intersection. I see them at least once or twice per week. They get people on the way home from the Metra train station nearby.

Golf Rd. Westbound Left turn on Roselle Rd. The light is short. Once it turns yellow it doesn’t give enough time to complete the turn. Be aware the light will quickly turn red about half way through the turn. Police frequently patroll that intersection to catch people for that reason.

There is a camera at this intersection. If you do not stop at the white line before proceeding right on the red light it will cost you $100.
