Bethel Lane’s entire length is 30mph which is extremely hard to stay to. The officer (county sheriff) lives toward the east end and has stopped people late at night and in the early am. He usually catches on a blind curve or uphill. Will not stop you if below 40.
State Highway 37 near 2nd Street
Motorcycle cop sits under the 2nd st overpass along 37.
Curry Pike Road near 4 Lanes on Curry Pike Road
Where Curry Pike is 4 lanes, they are constantly watching off on the side roads, businesses, driveways, and dead ends. They have County, City, and State. They are unmarked, marked, and today a Motorcycle Officer was off on a side road radaring and catching speeders. Just obey the limit and be careful, it does drop the closer you get to GE, there at the new light,It drops 10 mph if you are going South.
State Highway 37 near State Highway 46 Heading to Ellettsville
Just past the last stop light where the ON/OFF ramp for HWY 37 and HWY 46 is. If you are heading to Ellettsville there is a speed trap. There is an officer parked off to the side of a dead end turn. He sits there every night trying to catch speeders coming off HWY 37 heading to Ellettsville.
Walnut Street near E 14th Street
Police sit in or near the Jiffy Treet parking lot at night, looking for speeders and drunk drivers. The posted limit is 30mph but most traffic travels at 40-45mph.
