Cruisers will often patrol going back and forth between SR-62 and I-65 and they WILL make U-Turns to apprehend. They are particularly eager to trap around this area and will often opt to pursue those going 5-10 over in place of those going much faster, so it’s probably best to not go beyond 55 unless you’re sure you’re safe.
Also, considering they will detect while in motion, they’re more likely to be in always-on mode rather than instant-on, but still, I wouldn’t risk it–keep your eyes peeled.

Radar (K band) and VG-2 running sometimes going north or south bound. posted speed is 55 but you can run 65 without problems. I usually run 70-75 with no problems.

Construction zone – The interstate is somewhat restrictive between Sellersburg and Clarksville heading south and between the Stansifer Exit and Eastern Blvd exit heading north. However, it opens up in between. Their favorite place to hide is ON the overpass(there is a little outcropping of concrete barriers where the width of the bridge is expanded). Do not speed over the 131 overpass!
