Saints Avenue near Exit Number Waverly Exit

Cedar Falls, IowaOct 18, 20071 Comments

Just past the Waverly N 218 exit on the way into Cedar Falls just before the 1st bridge. There is a reduced speed limit from 55 to 45 then to 35(past the bridge)I have seen a lot of people pulled over. They like to hide in the grassy medians. I have also seen them pull people over heading south right before the George Wyth/Airport exit.

US Highway 218 North/South near Lone Tree Road

Cedar Falls, IowaJul 17, 20070 Comments

State Patrol will use bridge overpasses (2 in this area, one of them is Lone Tree Road) to park and use radar or lidar. The speed limit changes at this point 55/65. I was given a ticket for 70 in a 55 when I was in the 65 zone, stopped right next to the sign for the 55 change – they fudged it. Be careful here!

Seerley Boulevard near Main Street

Cops usually wait in the school parking lot on Seerley Blvd as you’re travelling east, in the blocks immediately past main street (or just before if you’re travelling west). mostly one is there at night (i don’t think school speeds are enforced at that time).

W. 27th Street near Corner of Hudson Rd. and 27th

Cedar Falls, IowaMay 14, 20050 Comments

Cops will ALWAYS sit in the the parking lot across the street from the UNI Dome, radaring cars going in and out of 27th street because of a newly reduced speed limit due to new apartments, they seem to get dozens of unsuspecting drivers every weekend. watch out.
