Royal Oak, Michigan Speed Traps

Travelling North on Stevenson road, right after you cross 12 Mile, you’ll pass a restaurant, a trailer park and then some small businesses with trees in front. The cop will sit in the last parking lot on the right hand side. He’ll be obscured by trees and a tiny hill. They are there morning through night, about 50% of the time. You can’t see them until it’s already too late.

Getting onto WB 696 from I-75 (either direction) I always see a cop hiding in behind the wall. The ROPD park their Tahoes there and usually aren’t fooling anyone, but watch out.

A Royal Oak cop car will be sitting on either a side street or on Gardenia itself. The road is posted at 25, but since it is 11 1/2 Mile with only one traffic light between the points, some traffic reaches 35 or even 40. Be Careful!

a parking lot for the park is right next to normandy across from woodland. the cop sits in there.

The officer likes to sit in the back of a parking lot between the 7-11 and subway on crooks just south of 14 mile. i have seen them in both regular cars and unmarked cars with all lights off.
