Royal Oak, Michigan Speed Traps

Traveling South on Main street as you cross over 696, Police will be sitting 100 yards back on the 1st street just to the right. They are parked with the lights off (looks like a normal parked car), that patrol car doesn’t have lights on top of the roof. Usually there nightly after midnight. Also ticket for illegal right turn on Red coming of 696W onto Main street. Don’t Turn Right On Red there!

A State Trooper sits on the shoulder where the On-Ramp comes down onto 696 West waiting to tag people speeding past on the leFort Watch out when on 696 heading west approaching the Woordward and I-75 Exits.

there is usually a royal oak car sitting on the off ramp, westbound. I believe it’s the cambell exit, but I could be wrong, it’s the exit right after SB I-75 dumps on to WBI-696 speedlimit is 65. Im usually going through there daily around 2:30pm. they are usually there maybe 2 days of the week. would imagine they sit there at other times of the day too

They will hide in the service entrance to Red Run Golf course just west of Cody off of 12 Mile. I see people pulled over there at all times of the day.

Royal Oak police sit on the shoulder of I-696 West, right where the exit from I-75 South empties onto I-696. Due to the concrete barriers on both the I-75 exit and the I-696 overpass, they are impossible to see. I would guess they are there at least 3 days a week Monday thru Friday. Speed limit is 65MPH.
